Slovenian motorway tolls

In order to travel to Croatia many people will travel through Slovenia from Trieste. This usually necessitates using a very short stretch of Slovenian motorway and a newly introduced vignette must be purchased for this road (35 € for 3 months). Failure to do display the vignette may result in a fine ranging from 150 - 800 €. which will be collected by police patrols.
