Prestigious French campsite group celebrates its 50th anniversary

The well known French campsite group, Les Castels, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The group now comprises 39 top quality sites across France, many having been developed in the grounds of chateaux or manor houses. Other, more recent members, have superb scenic locations, such as Les Criques de Porteils, close to Collioure, in south western France.

To celebrate their anniversary there are 2 major initiatives. Firstly, a number of premium pitches have been introduced, including a fridge, parasol and free wi-fi. Secondly, a new loyalty card scheme has been introduced.
