Loaded Car Safety, Folkestone

Hi All, I want to go camping in France for the first time and need to stay over in Folkestone before getting the Eurotunnel. I'm worried about the safety of all the stuff packed in my car and hoped you may be able to make a suggestion about keeping it safe (or am I worrying too much about just leaving it in a hotel car park?).
