Warning Camac Campsite Dublin

Recently visited Camac campsite just outside Dublin.
We were recomended to have a meal ine Grill Room, a ten minute walk away.
We went to visit our family and decided to stop there on the way back for a meal. We parked our camper van in the outside car park, which was well lit and had camera's. We are very security minded and thought we were safe!!
We returned 45 minutes later our van had been broken into, many valuables gone, reported incident to Garda and were told that this park was notorious for breakinsevery other day! This was confirmed by other camsite owners in our travels, so be aware, as owners of Camac campsite must be aware of situation
