Sadly, the nights were not quiet and the touring pitches were not divided into areas for caravans, motorhomes and tents. There were no signs of any wardens (16/8/10 to 23/8/10) and the entire site had to endure, shouting, singing and screaming into the early morning, every night. The same groups of hoodlums had water fights in the washing up areas when they were not blasting away on their air cannister driven vuvuzellas. If you had a motormome or caravan and were not lucky enough to get a pitch in the one area designated for these, you would have to struggle to get into the other pitches which were cramped, off narrow access roads and in which the vehicle was likely to be damaged by overhead branches. The site was so busy, tents were pitched in the communal barbecue areas. Lights in the toilets were off several nights so the state of these was unbelievable by morning. Children were allowed to run around well after dark and most parents made no attempt to control the noise after 10pm. If you got into the showers before 9am, they were clean and hot. We will not be using this site again.
