caravan sites in Costa Del Sol area

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum and I would like to know if anyone winters in the Coster Del Sol area. Could you give me any information regarding this area and also what route you take and what campsites are open in winter through France. We have been to Benidorm during xmas and it was freezing and we were hoping it may be warmer further South - any help would be greatly appreciated

here's one at Cabopino near Marbella that caters for both long-term rentals in mobile homes/caravans or simply a few days in a tent.

What also came up was an ad for a mobile home for sale on the same site....upon reading through it, it mentions that € 515/per month is the rent to be paid to Camping Cabopino for services/utilities etc for the mobile home in question.
