Wink New Kid on the Block

Hello People

Just few lines to introduce myself, Im Chris who has just landed on what seems to be a interesting forum with plenty of info on camping around europe.

My reasons for joining this forum is to share what little knowledge I have of camping in France and hopefully to take some of your experiences good or bad! We have camped in the Vendee , Loire Valley, Perigord and stayed in B&B's en-route to our destinations so we have some experience of good and not so good places to stay.

We have just returned from 12 days in the Dordogne camping at Les Peneyrals in Saint-Crepin-Carlucet, it was an amazing part of France and would very much reccomend it for its history and its dramatic scenery of cliff top castle's, the dordogne and vezere rivers.

My plan next year is to try the south of France either the Riviera-Provence or Languedoc-Rousillon region, I know its a massive stretch of the Med with masses of campsites but we are looking for someting inland maybe 10 - 15km from the coast, quiet however not sleepy so as there is nothing to do for our teenage girls in the evening, any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks for reading.
