Default Toilet Chemicals - Campinggaz Instablue

An unsavoury topic
I have caravanned or motorhomed for nearly 40 years and used different toilet chemicals and have found them all pretty good - they do what they say on the bottle and have never had any issues with them. Elsan, Aquachem and even cheap label products from caravan supplies shops have been adequate.

This summer I bought a 2.5l Campinggaz Instablue from a French Supermarket and it's completely and utterly useless. I started adding the recommended mixture - hopeless after minimal use. I have since doubled and then doubled again the amounts used and it's completely hopeless.

Anyone else experienced this stuff? I have emailed Campingaz for their comments

"Many thanks for your email regarding the Instablue. I am sorry you are experiencing problems with one of products. We always try to pursue the highest quality possible within our range, and we will certainly address it to product development. We have not heard of this problem, but will keep an eye on it, if more complaints come in."

I'll pass your comments on to Campingaz too - there is an issue with this duff product from a well-respected firm - at least a refund or offer to analyse might have been made!
