Cool animals on sites

Why are so many sites now charging so much for (in my case dogs )on sites we have never had any complaints on sites and usually are only charged for 2 dogs instead of 4.
Our main problem is dealing with children whose parents after a long day out allow their offspring to come over to pet my dogs, fortunately we have experienced no problems but my dogs are now getting on and do not appreciate being pestered, however if their had been the animal concerned + owners would no doubt be held to blame.
So please you people with children do consider this when you return and send you little ones off to play to leave you to have a quiet time with your glass of wine or a beer DOGS GET TIRED TOO!!!
YES I have had children but, they after a long day out were content to read or play board games as we did'nt have computers etc.,

dont have quite the same problem and thought this was a thread about charging for dogs, I think its really bad to charge for a dog and as we only have susie a small yorkie, how much space does she need? saying that how much extra space does 2/3/4 dogs take up? they are all in the space you have paid for anyway so i hate and TRY to avoid the places where they charge for dogs, have only been to about 2 where they charge and that was un anavoidable place where we really wanted to stay, lots of kids come up unexpectedly to Susie and strokes her sometimes making her jump, she is ok thankfully but what if she wasnt? and she bit them, who would come off worse? I know the dog and even be put down all because the parent hasnt taught the child not to touch until they ask owner of dog if its ok. I am not saying its ok for her to bite a child just that parents really need to teach their child not to touch first and ask later!!
