We are going to Benicassim, just north of Valencia, with our tourer caravan in January for three months and are looking to buy a satellite system to keep up with UK TV. We keep getting conflicting advice about what we need in the way of dish size and type of receiver. Has anyone any experience of using satellite in this area? We would be grateful for any advice. Thanks.

We found that with an 80cm dish and a digibox we could get most of the channels except that the BBC and ITV variants would tend to disappear early evening and not come back until around midnight.. From Barcelona and above we could get all the channels we normally get at home.

I use a Sky Zone2 dish, and if I have any difficulty I connect an in-line amplifier ( available on Ebay for about £6.00 or Maplin for £14.00)
I use a SKY HD+ Box |
