Default spainish caravaning

hello caravanners
me and my family are thinking about going to spain for a month at christmas, we would like to go to the alicante area and what i am after from you clever people is some advice.
have anyone been to this area at that time of year, do you know of a good site, we do not want a very busy/noisy site. my son is eleven but we make our own entertainment. near a marina would be nice we cycle and walk a lot others his age would be nice (but not to many!) i would proberly take the ferry to spain and maybe drive back with a stop off at eurodisney i know i seem to be asking a lot from a holiday but any advice would be great, if it goes how we would like it would be great but it will help to have some thoughts from you well travelled types
many thanks in advance

Default Sites near Alicante

Hi

Hope you get some answers. In the meantime have a look at International La Marina some 40km south of Alicante. Its a super site which I have stayed at but not in the winter. It has everything but you can still do your own thing quietly. You need to remember that some of the facilities may be closed or have limited opening hours in the low season.
Have a look at the write up on the AR(Alan Rogers) web site - ES87420

Also Benidorm north of Alicante is a popular destination in the winter and it may be worth looking at some sites around there. A lot of work has been done to smarten it up. Camping Villasol ES86810 is very popular in the wintertime. Camping Benisol ES86830 is another one.

Remember if you want to visit Disneyland you need to find a site open all year. Camping Club le Parc de Paris FR77110 and Le Parc de la Colline FR77060would be suitable for overnight stop to visit Disney World. France does not have many sites open in the winter. The AR French Guide has a list which is worth looking at.

Hope this gets you started.
Lois
