refridgeration

what do others use for reridgeration,i used a quest 33 litre purchased from go outdoors.it wasnt very cold bearing in mind its always very warm in a tent.it said 20 degrees below ambient,my thermometer at best showed about 8 degrees.ok for a weekend maybe,what about a week or more?thanx
